Speakout 8/28

Monday, August 28, 2006

Recently on the partisan Missouri Democrat blog "fired up Missouri" they were critical of Sen. Jim Talent for making an appearance at an agriculture event in north Missouri with the commissioner of agriculture, Fred Ferrell over allegations that Ferrell harassed a female employee of his department. We wonder if the blog will rant and rave after Claire McCaskill has former President Bill Clinton as her honored guest at a fundraiser in St. Louis Sept. 9 since Juanita Broderick stated Clinton raped her; Paula Jones stated Clinton exposed his private parts to her; and Kathleen Willie stated Clinton sexually assaulted her in the White House oval office. Needless to say the Democrats need to be reminded people who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

I just received my paper on Monday, Aug. 21. I read in SpeakOut where the woman who said her mother was 82 and has a cleaning girl that left her mother's house to go to the bank, get breakfast and cash a check, gone for two hours. She had to leave her job and go to her mother's and set for two hours. I was just wondering, did you do anything for your mother other than just sit there for two hours? Did you, the daughter, do any cleaning, cook breakfast? No, I probably think not. All you wanted to do was sit around and gripe and let somebody else take care of your poor, old mother of 82 years-

old. That's all kids like you are fit for is to complain and let someone else take care of the people who took care of you and now they can't take care of theirself. That's what people like you are good for.

I want to speak out about the farmers getting the subsidy money. Who gives the government subsidy payments? It's the big farmers who are rich. The small farmer gets zero, nothing. The big farmer is hogging up all of the good land and drawing the big money. Also the insurance is the same for the small farmer as it is for the big farmer. Why is that? What is right about this? The big farmer gets all the benefits. They are running the small farmer out of farming. They can't keep paying for high price seed and fertilizer and get nothing for the crops. The small farmer can not survive. What is wrong with our system? Something is terribly, terribly wrong. It's all for the rich and nothing for the poor.

I'm calling concerning all these murders and everything else that is going on in the world today. If you would only watch Miami CSI or these other shows that are on TV you can see why it is repeated in the real world. I think that the TV stations need to stand up and take note of it as well as others because this is why a lot of things are going on in the world today. Why can't they go back to Gunsmoke and Have Gun Will Travel? Those were a lot different than what you see today?
