CHARLESTON - James Lewis "Jimmie" Warren, Sr., 88, died May 16, 2007, at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.

Born Sept. 18, 1918, in Shamrock, Okla., to William Jacob and Dora Young Warren, he was an auctioneer, livestock dealer and after his retirement became a realtor.

On June 14, 1941, in West Plains, he married Faye Johnson who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, James Warren Jr. of West Plains and David and Andra Warren of Surf City, N.C.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Judy Smith of Charleston and Vicki and Ken Ragan of Thayer; two sisters, Dorothy Templin of Thayer and Bristow Mayo of Hamilton, Mont.; and 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Harry Warren, Fred Warren, John Warren and Jesse Warren; five sisters, Guila Warren, Sybal Warren, Eva Warren, Joan Warren and Ann Warren; and a son-in-law, Ralph E. Smith.

Services will be from 10 a.m. until time of memorial services at 11 a.m. Friday at the Robertson Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main St., West Plains.
