SIKESTON -- Ernest R. Corder, 81, died Aug. 12, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Feb. 18, 1926, in Milan, Tenn., son of the late William and Annie Corder, he was a veteran of World War II.

On Sept. 2, 1950, he married Nellie Carter who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary and Sally Corder of Sikeston, Kenny and Kathy Corder of Belleville, Ill., and Bobby Corder of Pacific; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Bill Jasper of Dupo, Ill., and Kelly and Joe Parrish of DeSoto; and several grandchildren and great-

grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were one son, William Corder Sr.; three brothers, Jack Corder, John Corder and Eddie Corder; and one sister, Ada Payne.

Services were held Aug. 17 at the Kutis Funeral Home in St. Louis.

Burial with full military rites followed in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: William Corder, Joe Parrish, James Still, Andy Haddock, William Oakes and Tommy Reynolds.
