Chili day warms the chilly

Sikeston Rotarian Steve Deere places a lid on a cup of chili in the carry-out service at the First United Methodist Church Thursday afternoon. Over 1,500 tickets were sold for the event, which is in its 54th year. Proceeds will benefit community projects.
