SIKESTON - Louis Lesley Condict Jr., 59, died March 5, 2007, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Born June 11, 1947, in St. Louis, to Ruth Imogene Myres Condict of Athens, Texas, and the late Louis Condict, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in the Vietnam War. He attended the Church of God at Lilbourn and worked for Crop Production Services.

On Nov. 23, 1984, he married Brenda Kaye Leonard, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two brothers, Gaylon Condict of Albuquerque, N.M., and Mike Condict of Seattle; two sisters, Patty Woolverton of St. Louis and Joy Perfetti of Memphis, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ponder Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday. Merlin Myres, associate pastor of the Gardendale Church of Christ in Gardendale, Ala., will officiate.

Burial with full military rites will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Pallbearers will be: Aaron Wade, Andy Ulmer, Danny Leonard, Jason Vinson, D. Walker and Jim Moritz.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Don Hammock Sr., Jerry Inman, Lucas Townsend, Dennis Leonard, Dino Perfetti and David Perfetti.
