Speakout 12/14

The Housing Authority sends out many, many letters that aren't right. Like saying they are going to make people keep cars out of their yards. I have never in my life seen so many cars behind or beside the house. One, two, three or whatever. If they don't believe this, they can drive around at night and they can catch them.

I have a three-cent Malaysian stamp. I was wondering how to get in touch with someone to tell me how much it was worth. I also have a lot of church manuals from 1907 and an Eagle Brand cookbook that's 100 years old. Please leave it in SpeakOut if anyone knows what it's worth.

You see these people running up and down the road in the country and you don't know if they are rabbit hunting or what when they turn around in your driveway and go the other direction. If you're out joy riding all you see is a bunch of dumpy ole houses that's falling apart and not worth fixing.

Would anybody know if Charleston Class of 1967 is planning on having a 40 year class reunion?

I want to compliment the Montgomery Bank here in Sikeston for that beautiful cross they have here in front of their bank. This cross represents the cross that Christ hung on. And I believe more businesses should celebrate Christmas the way this bank does with this beautiful cross. Let's all remember the reason for the season, the birth of Jesus Christ. I have to stop at the stoplight there and look at it and it's just a beautiful, beautiful cross. Thank you whoever is in charge of putting that up there at the bank. We Christian people really appreciate this. God bless you and keep up the good work.

Please, please I'd like to know where I can find some Viking cleaner bags. Please put the number in SpeakOut if you know.

I was just reading the SpeakOut in Sunday's paper, something in here from some idiot saying where they thought it was totally ridiculous about saying a prayer for someone and how it was totally ridiculous to be in SpeakOut. I'd just like to say, and I don't know who this person is, but I'm going to say a little prayer for them. They certainly need one.

I had an article once in SpeakOut about the person who took the wreath from the United Methodist Church in Bertrand last Christmas. I'm calling back this time for the person who had taken the wreath from our church. The wreath was hanging on top of the organ pipes and was in memory of those people who were members, especially my mother. I hope they enjoy it this year.
