SIKESTON - Theresa A. Crowe, 85, died at 8:21 a.m. Jan. 9, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Jan. 1, 1922, at Idalia, to the late John Albert and Helen Grace Parrott Long, she was a housewife and member of the St. Joe Baptist Church at Idalia. She had previously worked for Carter Carburetor Plant in St. Louis during World War II. She also worked in Sikeston for the Crouther's Gift Shop.

On Oct. 11, 1946, she married Charles L. Long, who preceded her in death on March 17, 1976.

Two brothers also preceded her in death.

She is survived by: two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Joyce Crowe of Sikeston and Douglas and Helja Crowe of Peoria, Ill.; one brother, Theron Long of Bloomfield; one sister, Mary Helen Wilson of Madison Heights, Mich.; two grandchildren, Brad Crowe of St. Louis and Karen Chaney of Sikeston; three step-grandchildren, Anna, Laura and Sara Robinson all of Peoria; and three great-grandchildren, Tyson Estes and Tanner and Tucker Chaney all of Sikeston.

Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Jason Grubbs, associate pastor of Miner Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
