Speakout 9/7

Thursday, September 7, 2006

On Aug. 9 I had a heart attack and two EMT's came to my house, pouring down rain, right in the middle of rodeo time. And one little girl that was helping get in the gurney got hurt. The gurney flipped and hurt her wrist. And bless her heart, she still took the best of care of me anybody ever could. I don't know what happened to her. I am so worried about her. I don't know if it broke her wrist. I don't know what. But that little girl sat back there with me and comforted me and helped me and I would love to know her name. I am home, I am doing fine. Honey, I did have a heart attack. I also had another one when they did the angiogram at Southeast. I had no heart damage. Please put in the paper how this young lady is doing and if her wrist is okay. Because she did everything in the world for me and her comforting voice was the best help she could have ever done for me. Thank you sweetheart for all you did.

Mike Jensen, would one of your employees please go to the very north end of Moore Avenue in Sikeston and get a photo of a light pole and a light fixture that is broken and hanging there? Family and friends have called the city, light and power company, but to no avail. If this light does not belong to the city, why hasn't the property owners been notified? It is on city property.

This nasty Brittney Spears naked picture in the paper on Sunday. Can't you people do better than that? Or are you trying to compete with Playboy? Shame, shame.

In answer to Sunday's SpeakOut that some idiot said the Democrats would have had a good plan by now, then why haven't they done so instead of condemning everything intelligent people try to do? You don't defeat the terrorists by setting by and doing nothing like your worthless Willy always did. He was so much as handed Bin Laden twice. What did he do? As usual, nothing. Don't blame everyone else for our problems now. Satan is in his glory right now for sure.

Mike, my husband has ridden a motorcycle for years and he is a safe rider. He says if I learn to ride and get my license he will buy me a motorcycle. I have already picked one out that is just my size and that I like, but I'm looking for a class that teaches you how to ride in all kinds of weather conditions and road conditions. Do you know of such a class and how I would get in contact with this class? Tired of riding on the back.

This goes out to Bandit bouquet. I used to mow the cemeteries and help clean them. I know that the wind gets up sometime and blows the flowers all over the place, the flower arrangements, and we would just stick them on the nearest grave. But, I know that sometime people would come out and visit their loved ones and they would swipe people's flowers and stick them on their graves. It's probably because they feel guilty because they haven't been out there to see them. That's their fault, not yours.

I'm calling about the article that was in Monday's paper, on page 14, that should have been on page 1. The principal in Hammond, Ind. that sent 128 students home for inappropriate clothing, sloppiness and graphic T-shirts and cell phones stuck to their ears should be applauded and backed 100 percent by the school board. Most, but not all kids in this day and time, are disgusting. I am glad that some teachers and principals are taking action to change the dress code and behavior of students today.
