CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Cassie Dollie Hale, 89, formerly of Morley, died June 22, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Born May 12, 1917, in Morley, daughter of the late Grant and Nettie Riley Andrews, she was a retired machine operator at the Oran Hat Factory and a member of the Red Star Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

On Feb. 5, 1935, she married Herbert "Shaw" Hale, who preceded her in death on April 24, 2005.

Two brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons, Larry Hale and Paul Hale, both of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Sue Sherry of Collinsville, Ill. and Kathie Crader of Bald Knob, Ark.; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is at 4 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Todd Greer will officiate.

Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.

Pallbearers will be: Brett Hale, Ron Sherry Jr., Jon Sherry, Jason Crader, Travis Crader and Joseph Hamilton.
