SIKESTON - Doris Evelyn Anderson Pearson, 87, died Nov. 1, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born March 20, 1920, in West Plains, she was the daughter of the late Walter Leroy and Mary Jane Peace Anderson. A housewife, she lived most of her life on a farm south of Sikeston and was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church.

On Aug. 7, 1937, in Sikeston, she married Howard Pearson, who preceded her in death on March 21, 1976.

Also preceding her in death were: three brothers, Earl Anderson, Jewel A. Anderson and Russell Anderson; and three sisters, Gwendalyn Jones, Lara Anderson and Bobbie Sue Anderson.

Survivors include: two sons and three daughters-in-law, Jerry H. and Brenda Pearson of Arnold, Michael G. "Mike" and Diana Pearson and Jane Pearson of Sikeston; four grandchildren, Jeff Pearson of East Prairie, Jennifer Edwards of Albany, Ore., and Damon and Derek Pearson of Cape Girardeau; one stepgranddaughter, Monica Weems of Benton; four great-grandchildren, Madeleine Pearson, Emma Pearson, Julianna Pearson and Jack Pearson; two step-

great-grandchildren, Christopher Strader and Brittany Haynes; one step-great-

great-grandchild, Cooper Wilson; special friend, Leona Ring of Poplar Bluff; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
