"Passing and serving are two area's we have been practicing a lot because they are the foundation of a strong and successful program," Sexton said.
Sexton's main request from her team is a simple one. "I expect my ball players to commit 100 percent to the team," she said.
Sexton's approach to coaching is goal orientated. "We regularly set goals and the girls know that we won't quit trying until we accomplish or surpass those goals. Once we meet a goal, we raise the bar even higher, always wanting to better our team." Sexton said.
The new coaches implore the value of teamwork to their players. "As individuals they cannot meet these goals, success only comes when working as one unified team. This concept of teamwork makes them better athletes on the court and better individuals in life," Sexton said.
