In pool play, Dexter fell to Houston 24-26 and 20-25, split with Crowley Ridge Academy 25-17 and 24-26 and split with Cabot 25-20 and 15-25.
In the first round of the tournament, the Lady Bearcats downed Bryant 25-19 and 25-20 and in the second round defeated Cabot 18-25, 25-18 and 15-8 to make it to the championship game.
In the championship, Dexter battled with Little Rock Christian Academy and eventually pulled out the victory in three sets 18-25, 25-21 and 15-10.
"I couldn't be prouder of the way the girls played today," said Dexter head coach Kris Vandeven. "Our goal today was to start out on fire and keep the level of intensity up through the last game. We did just that."

"We played some tough competition," said Vandeven. "We won some and lost some, but we hung in there until the end."Dexter will visit Advance tonight for their next match.
