BLODGETT -- Elizabeth Ann Markland, 59, died at 2:45 p.m. Dec. 21, 2008, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Feb. 7, 1949, in Adams, Mass., to Edith Lee Dickinson of Smyrna, Del., and the late Wallace H. Dickinson, she worked for Sonic for 13 years. She was of the Baptist belief.

On March 30, 1968, in Bear, Del., she married Paul Markland who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include: two sons, James Paul Markland of Oran and Wayne Allen Markland of Newark, Del.; two daughters, Kari Lynn Dow of Blodgett and Tracie Lee Markland of Morehouse; two brothers, Allan Dickinson and Robert Dickinson of Townsend, Del.; one sister, Donna Lowell of Wilmington, Del.; and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Friday until time of services at 11 a.m. at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Ed Carter, pastor of the Oran First Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: James Markland, Wayne Markland, Marion Dow, Allan Dickinson, Robert Dickinson and Justin Stinnett.
