Notre Dame wins pitcher's duel

Pitchers combine for 21 strikeouts

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- One right after the other, Dexter's Cody Stause and Notre Dame's Colton Young would take their place on the mound. And more times than not, they would work themselves out of an inning by coming back from a 3-0 count to get a strikeout or coax a groundball when it mattered the most.

It was a pitchers duel on Wednesday afternoon that Notre Dame managed to hit they're way out of with a 4-0 win.
