Gooch jumps into lead

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Talor Gooch of Midwest City, Okla., came out blazing in the second round at the Rolex Tournament of Champions Thursday, finishing with a two-day score of 7-under-par 137. Victoria Tanco of Bradenton, Fla., holds onto her lead in the Girls Division at 6-under-par 138, with the competition in hot pursuit.
