Lady Hawks overcome slumping bats in 4-0 win

SCOTT CITY -- Coming off of being shutout over the weekend, the Kelly Lady Hawks continued their struggles at the plate but still managed a 4-0 win over the Scott City Lady Rams on Tuesday afternoon at Scott City High School.

"We couldn't hit," Kelly head coach Rhonda Ratledge said. "Everything we swung at went right off the end of the bat. I asked them if we could please have one swing up there without having it hit off the end of the barrel. We were just coming around so quick that it was catching the end of the bat -- all day.
