State-ranked Potosi upends NMCC 39-6

POTOSI -- In their third meeting in the past two seasons, the Potosi Trojans avenged their post-season loss from last year to the New Madrid County Central Eagles on Friday night with a 39-6 win.
The Trojans found themselves up by 20 points by the end of the first half on Friday night as the visiting Eagles could not reverse their fortune in the final two quarters.
Last season, NMCC defeated Potosi in the regional round of the playoffs with a 28-19 win after the Trojans won their first meeting in the regular season 28-18.
