The slow and methodical ways of Southland had the Rebels out in front after the first quarter with a 12-9 lead. A 15-7 second quarter in favor of the Tigers put Risco out in front for good.
"About 10 passes was the norm," Risco head coach Brandon Blankenship said. "They worked the ball around and were very patient."
Zach Williams led Risco with 17 points while Brandon Bennett and Luke Bixler added 11 apiece.
This win for the Tigers puts them in the championship game against the North Pemiscot Mustangs on Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. North Pemiscot defeated Clarkton 73-39 in their semifinals game.
"At this point of the season you just want to win and advance," Blankenship said. "This is right where we wanted to be."
