Troy Lee McClanahan, left, and Billy Heisserer prepare to move metal at the construction site for the expansion of the Kenny Rogers Children's Center. The addition will include a 4,000 square-foot playground which will be used as part of the physical therapy for the more than 400 children who receive developmental and therapeutic services at the Center. According to Michelle Fayette, the Center's director, the addition should be completed by next March. Construction has been able to move rapidly, Fayette, explained, because of the use of the LeeCor System of panels (shown above the brick work), which were installed in three work days by a crew from Side Construction. The panels are light weight, yet energy efficient and for use in areas subject to high winds and earthquake activity.
