WYATT -- David D. Bramlett, 49, a resident of Wyatt and formerly of Wickliffe, Ky., died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at the Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

Born Feb. 10, 1962, at Rockford, Ill., to Charles Ivan and Sharon Kappan Bramlett who survive of Cape Girardeau, he had lived in Charleston for several years before moving to Wickliffe where he was employed at New Page Corporation. He served as president of the Cherokee Hunting Club of Ballard County, Ky., and vice president of local 680 United Steelworkers. He was involved in many charitable organizations and thrived and greatly enjoyed helping others and placed their needs above his own.

On June 4, 1997, he married Donna Brown Hamby who survives of the home.

Surviving besides his wife and parents are: one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Carman Hamby of Charleston; one daughter and her special friend, Heather M. Hamby and Jace Tilford of Kevil, Ky.; one brother, Ivan Ray Bramlett of Sikeston; three sisters, Debbie (Teddy) Poyner of New Madrid, Judy (Stephen) Mill of Cape Girardeau and Becky (Jerry) Mayabb of Jackson; and five grandchildren, five nephews and six nieces.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. E.J. McDougal, pastor of the Christian Tabernacle in Sikeston, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Sam Booking, Steve Lovelace, Tim Myatt, Kevin Glenn, Teddy Poyner and Chris Whybark.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Scott Glenn and Doug Glastetter.
