SCOTT CITY -- Ethel P. Anderson, 96, died on Dec. 25, 2011, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 9, 1915, in Crump, to the late Kirby and Ida Mae Williams Crump, she worked as a supervisor for 39 years at Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee before retiring. She was a member of The First Baptist Church in Chaffee and the Ladies Auxiliary Gideon International.

On Oct. 17, 1946, she married Paul Jamerson, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 1962. She then married Charley "Lee" Anderson on June 22, 1968, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 1996.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and two stepsons

Survivors include: a brother, Harrell Crump of Chaffee; two sisters, Dorothy Nobles of Scott City and Coletta Hahn of Chaffee; four stepgrandchildren and seven great-stepgrandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. at The First Baptist Church in Chaffee with the Rev. Matt Butrum officiating.

Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
