Friday, January 13, 2012
Gov. Jay Nixon was in Sikeston Friday to outline his Missouri Works Strategy during a tour of Tetra Pak. "My top priority for 2012 is to create jobs to get Missourians working and keep our economy moving forward," said Nixon. His plan includes to grow the next-generation of automotive supplier jobs, expand exports, train more workers for high-tech careers, hire more Missouri military veterans, jumpstart job-creation in science and technology, target high growth industries and create jobs in rural communities.
