COLLINSVILLE, Ill. -- Ruby Naomi Golightly Bromley, 80, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died Feb. 2, 2012, at the Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

Born Dec. 2, 1931, at Charleston, to the late Clarence and Catherine Bryars Golightly, she had lived in Collinsville for a number of years.

On April 23, 1949, she married Carl Anderson Bromley, who preceded her in death Oct. 19, 1975.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Gary Bromley, one daughter, Sherry Parson, two brothers, Donald Golightly and Eugene Bromley, and two grandsons.

Surviving are: two sons, Bruce Bromley of Collinsville and Richard Bromley of Modesto, Calif.; three daughters, Joyce Bromley Thomas of Santa Rosa, Calif., Linda Agers of Alton and Laurie Lux of Modesto, Calif.; three brothers, Clarence Golightly of Cahokia, Harold Golightly of Centerview and Bill Golightly of Hiawatha, Iowa; two sisters, Margaret Vinson of Charleston and Mary Matthews of Warrenton, Mo.; and 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until noon Saturday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Dogwood Cemetery.
