Marion blanks Sikeston netters 9-0

SIKESTON -- Visiting Marion, Ill., swept the Sikeston Bulldogs 9-0 Thursday at the Sikeston Public Tennis Courts at Sikeston High School.

Senior Josh Bill went into a tiebreaker with Marion's number one, Pablo Cuartas, after tying 8-8. Bill fell 7-2 in the tiebreaker.

Sikeston will participate in the Poplar Bluff Invitational Saturday.

The Sikeston junior varsity also lost 3-0.
