George Bennett
PADUCAH, KY -- George B. Bennett, age 72, passed away at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at his home in Paducah.
George was born in Sikeston, Mo., on Jan. 8, 1940, to Norman P. and Hazel L. (Morrow) Bennett. He was a retired medical sales representative. Mr. Bennett was a member of the TKE fraternity at Southeast Missouri State University, the Pharmaceutical Group Association, past member of the Sikeston Jaycee Club and a Master Mason of the Springfield Masonic Lodge. He was also the past president of the Paducah Photography Club and studied photography at the Paducah School of Art at West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Hilda Hurley Bennett of Paducah; sons, Zeke Bennett of St. Louis, Mo., and Keith N. Bennett of Kansas City, Mo.; daughter, Annie Marie McQuigg of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Kelsey Bennett, Madison Bennett, Riley Bennett, Karson Bennett, Rutter McQuigg and Tillie McQuigg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Beverly Ann Bennett and Donna Sue Menz.
Memorial services for George B. Bennett will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Ron Edwards officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 11 a.m. until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
