RISCO -- Donald James Adams, 75, formerly of Camdenton, died Aug. 4, 2012, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Oct. 24, 1935, in Lilbourn to the late James and Marie Gremore Adams, he was a retired mechanic and of the Baptist belief.

On Jan. 8, 1977, he married Erma Sloan, who preceded him in death on June 11, 2008.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Adams, one brother, John Adams, and one sister, Doris Ogden.

Survivors include: three daughters, Pam Norman of Dudley, Debbie Smith of Poplar Bluff and Linda Stanley of Dexter; two brothers, Ron Adams of Gideon and George Adams of New Madrid; five sisters, Dixie Corn, Pat Taylor and Carol Blagg of Risco, Vickie Klein of Conway Ark., and Sandy Turner of Warrenton; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Richland near Camdenton with the Ponder Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
