Prom dress sale helps save money for local girls, raise money for Project Graduation

NEW MADRID - As the mother of three girls, Cindy Amick understands the desire of high school girls to look their best on prom night. She also understands the sticker shock prom dresses can bring.

The Project Graduation parents may have found a solution to the dilemma. A three-day sale of more than 500 new dresses priced at $25 or less.

"Every student should have a nice prom dress without having to spend a lot of money," Amick said. "Really the focal point that night is on the flowers and the pretty faces. This gives everyone the opportunity to have a nice dress without having to spend a lot money."
