Right in the kisser

Students at the Sikeston Fifth and Sixth Grade Center raised more than $1,500 for the Parent Teacher Organization through a penny war, voting by pennies over which teacher should kiss a goat at the conclusion of their celebration of American Education Week. The winners/losers were good sports Friday afternoon kissing one of two goats during an all-school assembly which also included the Sikeston High School cheerleaders. With a little lip gloss application before hand, teacher Kari Jacobson plants a kiss on one of the goats.
