SIKESTON -- It's career week for a group of Sikeston preschoolers.

Youngsters at Bulldog Preschool, located on the campus of Sikeston High School, this week are learning about the possibilities of what they can be when they grow up. For the first time, professionals are visiting the preschoolers to discuss their careers.

"We always talk about career choices and do themed activities," said Dee Beydler, director of the preschool. "This year I thought I'd bring in some professionals and let the kids experience them in person."

Eleven of Beydler's 12 preschoolers were present on Monday for the visit from their first group of professionals -- law enforcement officers and firefighters.
