Doris Bartle

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Doris B. Bartle, 64, formerly of Sikeston, died Monday Feb. 18, 2013, at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born June 4, 1948, in McDougal, Ark., to the late Burl Isaac and Ruth Mae Warren, Doris was the owner and operator of The Down Spout Restaurant in Jackson several years.

In addition to her her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Warren.

She is survived by: a sister and brother-in-law, Bobbi and Clyde Wheatley of Sikeston; a niece and her spouse, Kim and Philip Sanders, and a great-niece, Bayleigh Sanders, of Sikeston; nephews, Stephen Wheatley and Trevor Wheatley of Sikeston; and very dear friends Ruth and Don Harper and their family of Cape Girardeau.

There will be no services conducted.

The Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
