Florida Robinson

SIKESTON -- Florida M. Robinson, 81, died Feb. 26, 2013, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born May 6, 1931, in Collierville, Tenn., to the late James and Dora Fowler Nolen, she had attended public school in Collierville and was of the Baptist belief.

She was married to Jim Robinson, and he preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Lawrence, three sons and two grandsons.

She is survived by: six sons, Lynell Robinson, Larry (Carolyn) Lawrence, Andrew (Dorothy) Sales, Curtis (Edith) Sales, Jerry (Josie) Robinson and Michael Sales; nine daughters, Brenda (Grace) Echols, Rose (Ben) Porter, Phyllis Sales, Ella M. Robinson, Aretha Robinson, Mary Catherine Cox, Patricia Sales, Evelyn Robinson and Onetha Kidd; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of memorial service at noon Friday at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston with Justin Lawrence, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Driver Funeral Service of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
