Three escape from Butler County Jail

POPLAR BLUFF - The Butler County Sheriff's Department is continuing to search for three inmates described as "armed and dangerous."

At 11:35 p.m. Monday, Rodney Joe Green, wanted on numerous assault charges, and Matthew Brandon Cook and Kade Reaves Stringfellow, both being held on murder charges, escaped "by defeating the internal ceiling structure of the jail," according to a news release from the Sheriff's Department.
