Deputies' actions are called into question

CHARLESTON -- A patrol car video should clear up what actually happened before a former county resident's four-wheeler was impounded.

"I lived in East Prairie pretty much all my life," said Jeremy Hodges, now of Lake Ozark, during the regular Mississippi County Commission meeting Thursday.

Hodges told commissioners his 13-year-old son, who still resides in the county with his ex-wife, was recently detained by Mississippi County Sheriff's Department deputies Marc Tragesser and Michael Tarver; and that a four-wheeler was unreasonably "seized" by the deputies.
