The end result

So what's up with the sports editor? They put a big picture in of Rib City Shootout, and said that Sikeston participated, but there's no results. That's kind of dumb.

The Rib City Shootout is a two day event that's not really centered on results. Teams play around four games per day and are paired with a similar opponent talent wise. A running clock of two halves are played and they keep score, but the main focus of Rib City is about simply playing and giving coaches a measuring stick of where their teams stack up. The scrimmage I saw Sikeston participate in was against Madison College Prep and they lost. If memory serves, it was by nine points. -- Chris Pobst, Sport Editor.

What a line!

I'm calling about the lady that called in and said that she watched in East Prairie one day a steady stream of traffic coming through downtown, one car right after another. Lady, that was a funeral procession going to the cemetery or the school let out and that was the school kids. That was somebody that was wanting the one-way street in East Prairie. We don't have that much traffic in East Prairie.
