Two killed in separate Christmas Eve accidents

Highway Patrol reports both women were from New Madrid County

SIKESTON -- A New Madrid woman and Parma woman were killed in separate accidents Tuesday in New Madrid County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports att 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, Georgia M. Halford, 51, of New Madrid was traveling on Route E, five miles west of Lilbourn, when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.
