Only as a last resort

Does Sikeston schools still use physical punishment? If so, what is their policy and their conditions? I know progressive schools don't do this, but I'd like to know.

In accordance with the Sikeston R6 Schools Board Policy JGA, Corporal Punishment is used as a last resort, when all other alternative means of discipline have failed, and then only in reasonable form and upon the recommendation of the principal. It should be administered by the principal in the presence of the teacher. Parents are contacted prior to this discipline. -- Tom Williams, superintendent

Cold hand

On Saturday, Jan. 11, I lost a leather woman's glove in Walmart. I was looking at men's clothing at the edge of the aisle toward the food department. I have the other glove. If you found the glove, will you please turn it in at the customer service desk and I will pick it up. Thank you.
