PREP ROUNDUP: East Prairie wins, NMCC falls to Jackson

BENTON -- Damion Tipler scored a game-high 23 points as the East Prairie Eagles took down Kelly 71-35 Friday at Kelly High School.

Seth Bays and Dustin Bryars each added 11 points to East Prairie's 11th win of the season. Their one win shy of matching their best record in six years.

Kelly (3-16) was led in scoring by Dalton Huffman and Conner Dittlinger who each scored eight.

Jackson 65, NMCC 58

JACKSON -- The New Madrid County Central Eagles fell to Jackson in their SEMO Conference matchup Friday 65-58.

Jackson (19-3) led 37-32 at halftime and 52-43 after three quarters

NMCC falls to 10-8 on the season.

Malden 59, Bernie 53

MALDEN - The state-ranked Bernie Mules suffered back-to-back losses for the first time this season Friday night when it fell 59-53 at Malden.

Cortez Dobbins scored a game-high 26 points. Shaeen Perkins added 11 more for the Green Wave.

Jake Wagner paced Bernie (20-4) with 15 points. B.J. Jennings and Joey Walker both tallied 10 points for the Mules.
