Roll out the barrels

If anyone has any burn barrels available, could you please put your number in SpeakOut?

Everybody heard about bird

I see where Sikeston must be a very, very peaceful, dull place. I see in the paper five headlines on the front page - three Charleston, one Bloomfield, and one in Benton about a runaway bird. Way to go Sikeston.

What about the fridge?

It's 6:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21. Just watching the KFVS news and there's a segment about the computer games and television and movies and stuff. They say they contribute to obesity. They always talk about all these games that people use for entertainment. But they don't say one single word about the refrigerator. It's just not fair.

Threads of kindness

I make lap blankets for people in the nursing homes. If you have any yarn that you don't need, any color, please put your number in SpeakOut and I will call you.

Gone, but not forgotten

This is to the person that caused the accident out in front of the bowling alley on Friday the 21st of February. I know you have to have a heart because God gives everybody a heart. I hope you think about the accident that you caused. It was my son that you left out in the middle of the road. You had no way of knowing if he had broken bones, injured badly or nothing. You drove off and you left. I hope you read this. God gives everybody a heart. I hope you do the right thing and turn yourself in at the police station. All we need is your insurance. If you keep hiding, and we find you, it's gonna be worse. So you better turn yourself in. It was out by the bowling alley between 3 and 4 o'clock on Feb. 21. You have no idea if he was hurt badly or not. You drove off and left him like an old mangy dog. People treat their dogs better than some humans treat other human beings. You pulled out in front of him and you stopped. It's a good thing that he didn't hit you. Turn yourself in because there are people that know what you are driving and they are looking for you. I hope you have a pleasant life.

Going to pot

I just saw the dumbest thing on the news that said the sale of marijuana in Colorado had made taxes over so many millions. And one of the things they were gonna use the money for was to keep teenagers and young children off of marijuana and drugs. Now what in the Sam Hill? That don't even make any sense. If anybody can smoke it, they are gonna buy it and give it to the teenagers. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. What they need to do is stop selling marijuana legally. That is stupid.
