I'm not making this up

I saw on the news this morning about a research they are doing about women using too much makeup. Gosh, I've always thought this. When they take their makeup off, their husbands or boyfriends don't even hardly recognize who they are. Older people that wear all that makeup, it gets in all them wrinkles and makes them look worse than before they put it on. That's ridiculous. There's a time to cut back on stuff and makeup should be cutback on a whole lot. A lot of them just look like clowns they put on so much. Me and my friend saw a man in a store one time and we were talking about women wearing so much makeup. He told us when his wife took off all her makeup, he didn't even recognize her when she got in the bed at night. That's awful.

Interest is high

This may be the worst Missouri legislature in the history of Missouri. They want to cut Missouri's income tax by about $600 million a year, cutting the tax load mostly for the upper income folks. They want to increase the sales tax by about $600 million a year, increasing the load on the middle class in an unequal manner. They say it is to make Missouri more tax competitive with other states. Missouri is the uncontested sixth lowest tax state in the nation. The interests protected by this legislature go to the highest contributors. How much did you donate to this group to represent you and and your interests in the Missouri general assembly?

Where they taking us?

Our Missouri Legislature does not like unions, does not want employers to be required to pay living wage, does not like welfare....where are they trying to take the citizens of Missouri?

Highway to garbage zone

The Sikeston commissioner might want to think twice about looking at Mississippi County's ordinance as they still have not taken care of trash problems. They have been unable to enforce the ordinance. They issue warnings and no one obeys. One case in particular is on Highway 80. This person has been warned multiple times and continues to pile more junk on property that ruins the neighborhood. Also, you may want to drive down Branum Street and other streets in Sikeston if you think Sikeston is clean at this time.
