Misguided

I think it would be better if the Standard Democrat, since we get a Friday paper, why do they print on Saturday a Friday and Saturday TV guide since we get a Friday paper with a Friday TV guide and then on Saturday we get the Friday and Saturday TV guide and then we don't get a Sunday paper. Why shouldn't they print a Saturday and Sunday TV guide? I think that would be a lot better. If you all would think about this, it would make a lot more sense for you all to do that so we would have a Sunday TV guide. Think about this and use some commonsense so people will know what's on TV on Sundays. Use that wisely and people would like that a lot better. Just use a little commonsense.

I think you may have it confused. In the Friday edition of the paper, there is the Friday and Saturday TV guide, so you can see ahead of time what will air on Saturday, since we do not have a Saturday paper. We have a weekend edition, that is usually delivered on Saturday, and that TV guide begins with Sunday. We do not print a Saturday paper with a Friday and Saturday TV guide.

I would like to speakout about a physician's office in Sikeston that is closed. I go down there on an appointment that they had made me. There's no note on the door, there's no answering the phones or nothing. This doctor had a lot of patients. We haven't heard anything of why they have just walked away from the office. I think they owe us an explanation and an apology for not being there for patients because they just left us holding the bag. Does anybody know where these doctors have went. Do any of y'all know 'cause we need our doctors back. If anybody knows, let us know the truth.

Welcome back Bergdahl

I feel sorry for the parents of the soldier that was captured in Afghanistan, but they lawmakers, especially Republican lawmakers, shouldn't make a spectacle of themselves by using him so maybe they can maybe win an election or turn people against people. The boy wandered off from his post, maybe he did, maybe he didn't. I wasn't there and neither were they. The thing about this is we need to welcome boys like this home and not be like they are doing him in his own state, treating him like he is a criminal. No one knows what happened. He might've had a girlfriend that he sneaked off to see, and I don't blame him. I used to do the same thing only I wasn't in a war zone. Using him for a political football is terrible. It should be stopped, and if it can't be stopped, let them leave the United States. We don't need people like that over here anyhow. Let them go to Afghanistan and see how it is.
