CONROE, Texas -- Herbert Wayne "Herb" Culbertson, 52, passed away Sept. 25, 2014, at his home in Conroe, Texas.
Herb was born Jan. 7, 1962, in Sikeston, Mo., to Donald and Pauline Culbertson Sr.
Herb is survived by his wife Debbie; one daughter, Tammi; one son, John; two granddaughters, soon to be three; his mother, Pauline; one brother, Don Jr; and two stepdaughters, Shannon England and Dawn Ingle, who also assisted in his care the past three months.
In addition to his immediate family, Herb is also survived by and blessed to be a part of the family of Roberta and John Masterson, a family that has added so much to Herb's life; and a special friend, Julio Tapia, also survives.
Herb was preceded in death by his first wife, Cheryl; and daughter, Danita Rae; father, Don Culbertson Sr.; and father-in-law, John Masterson.
Visitation will be Tuesday starting at 11 a.m. with funeral services at 1 p.m. at Old Bethel Baptist Church with Steven Vester, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be at Sikeston City Cemetery with Blanchard Funereal Chapel in charge of all arrangements.
Active pallbearers will be son John Culbertson; brother Don Culbertson; nephews Rick Fodge and Brock Powers; and family friends, Mike Sadler Jr. and Randy Grant. Honorary pallbearers will be nephew Jamie White; and friends Kent Watson, David Canady, Mike Freed, Eric Sadler and Corky Lindsey.
