Lopsided compassion

Our media, President and attorney general have shown great concern for months now over the death of a 300 pound, 6-foot robber on marijuana who attacked a police officer. Where is the concern for the millions of our Christian brothers and sisters who are becoming homeless refugees, threatened with death or convert? Many have seen their families tortured or decapitated and the women raped. Churches have been destroyed and even Jonah's grave in Nineveh, now called Mosul, is destroyed. That's lopsided compassion. Aren't we supposed to be our brother's keeper?

We need policemen

Hello Mike, since watching all this stupidity in Ferguson last week, I couldn't take it any longer. I had to call SpeakOut. I seen on TV that since 2010 there was 40 deaths caused by police officers. Big deal. I'm a proud supporter of the National Law Enforcement Police Officers Memorial Fund since the late 1980s. The memorial was dedicated in 1991. I have donated every year since. I receive a wall calendar every year with lots of facts. One that a lot of people don't realize is that on average every 58 hours, there is a police officer killed in the line of duty. Mike, what would we do without them?
