Students from the Sikeston Career and Technology Center's Health Occupations Program, along with fifth and sixth graders in the Operation Hope Mentor Program made goody bags which were delivered to Sikeston police officers as a thank you for all they do to protect the community. "The high school students wanted to help encourage the younger mentor kids to understand police officers are good people who protect us, and we need to be grateful for that and always respect them," said Gloria Houston, program adviser. The students also delivered blankets to the homeless shelter and cancer treatment centers. SCTC Health Occupations Program's Community Service T
