EAST PRAIRIE -- Doyle Elementary in East Prairie recently hosted the eighth annual Doyle Elementary School blood drive with a shamrock/heart theme.

The pint-sized heroes were so "lucky" because they were able to find 342 blood donors and 287 units were considered productive and able to save 861 lives, according to blood drive officials. Kindergarten pint-sized heroes are: Nolan Adkisson, Lawson Baker, Liberty Bell, Emma Britt, Chase Childers, Reagann Duenne, Emmalea Harper, Madison Huckstep, Gracie Irby, Mikah Loflin, Joab Morales, Kylie Shoffner, Brendan Wolford, Dawson Aters, Remi Cade, Abby Dahlbeck, Hunter Hall, Olivia Hayes, Heidi Krauss, Charlise LaPlant, Harper Marshall, Reilend Owens, Drew Smith, Lucas Wheatley, Toby Bell, Ava Bright, Logan Bright, Rhylyn Cross, Kyla Kelley, Larkin Owens, Remmi Patterson, Blair Sanders, Cotton Scott, Derringer St Cyre, Kaitlyn Thompson, Ava Adams, Jack Bollinger, Aden Brewer, Jaleigh Clubbs, Graham Cogdill, Mya Gephart, Bradley Lindsey, Brynlee Stevenson and Megan Tragesser
