Kelly FBLA earns District honors

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Students from Kelly High School took part in the annual FBLA district competitions were held at Southeast Missouri State University on Feb. 20.

Students from schools throughout District 15 gathered to compete and obtain results from testing and to perform a variety of speeches and presentations. Categories of events included individual, team and performance events. District officers were also elected and inducted for the upcoming 2015-2016 year.

First Place district winners from the Kelly FBLA Chapter were: Lee Ellen Feezor, Spreadsheet Applications; Conner Dittlinger, Impromptu Speaking; Bryce Beggs,-- Business Math; Jordan Collins, Word Processing; Alexius Sander, Client Service; Seth Perdue, Emerging Business Issues; Austin Roth, Emerging Business Issues; Jacob Riley, Computer Applications; and Donald Beck, Cyber Security and Intro to Information Technology.

Those earning second place honors from the Kelly FBLA were: Reece Scherer and Tyler Scudder-- Desktop Publishing; Lydia Tackett and Tesla Smith, Hospitality Management; and Jacob Riley, Database Design.

The third place winners from Kelly FBLA were: Madison Hayden - Business Ethics; Conner Gleason, Business Ethics; Donald Beck, Computer Problem Solving; Bryce Beggs, Public Speaking I; Shaina Grigery, Public Speaking II; and Lee Ellen Feezor, Accounting I.
