NEW MADRID -- The New Madrid Middle School Student Council sponsored a Masquerade Ball for the student spring dance. The students danced and competed for several awards.

Winners were: best masks - Josh Phillips, Paige Towery, Shaniah Word, Annastasia Harlow, Devon Thomas and Alyssa Jernigan; best dressed -Dmarian Brooks, Lizzie Redden, Kyrah Steward, Noah Shaver, Dekeya Cason and Garret Perry; best dancers - Lariya Cooper, Ayonna Ruff, Austin Davis, Shaniah Word, Tra Ranson and Beyonka Williams; overall top dancer -Trevon Cooper.
