Drug paraphernalia, child endangerment counts filed
BENTON -- A Blodgett woman who was found with drug paraphernalia in her home also faces charges for leaving her child unattended in car.
Loan K. Tran, 24, is charged with a felony of endangering the welfare of a child and a misdemeanor charge of possessing drug paraphernalia.
According to the Scott County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded just after 1 a.m. Friday to a report of an intoxicated female who had left her child unattended inside a vehicle at a home in Blodgett.
Deputies located a vehicle in a metal garage with the driver's side door open, the interior light on and a nine-month-old infant alone and sleeping in a car seat, according to Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter.
