I would like to know why only one elementary school in Sikeston does not list their honor roll students in the paper?

The Standard Democrat publishes honor rolls that are submitted to us. Some schools submit by semester, some by quarter. You may want to contact the school with your concerns.

Let DeWitt do it

I was reading where the Cardinals need some help. Why don't they sign Blake DeWitt? Get him in maintenance for about a week, get him back in shape. Bring him up there, and they're off and running.

Get out and get 'em

I live in Charleston and they have a brand new animal control truck. You never see it out and about. We sure do have a lot of dogs and cats running loose, but we never see that truck out picking them up. I don't know what else to say. Someone needs to be driving that truck and picking these stray animals up. We would really appreciate it.
