You need a refresher course

To the person that wrote in about road rules, you are wrong. It is not a law that I have to move over and allow you to merge. I have lived and drove in about 10 states, and none of them have that as a law. Merging traffic is to yield to the right of way. Period. As far as your comment about bicycles riding in the road, that is where they should ride. And they are to obey all traffic laws also, just like a car. You are never to ride facing traffic. That's how people get killed. You are the one that needs to read the driver's manual and be retested. No wonder there are so many bad drivers on the road with your "so-called" knowledge of driving. Be qualified or stay off the road.

Above and beyond

I would just like to say thank-you to a couple of city workers, Mr. Brown and his co-worker. God sent me two angels. On Monday morning as I was leaving my house on my bike, I had an accident. They stopped and helped me. They just went above and beyond their duty to help me and they stayed there till I was ready to go. I just want to thank them both. God bless both of you.
