SPEAKOUT (471-6636)

What's step two?

I'm commenting on the "Silent majority needs to speak up" article by Michael Jensen. I wholeheartedly agree with this article. But my question is, how Michael do you pursue speaking out? If you call your congressmen and representatives, nothing ever changes. What is the next step for the silent majority to be heard? Just wonder what your thoughts were on this? And also in the paper in SpeakOut on the same day, the person that said "Go ahead and make my day," that person is an idiot.

Don't call or write once. Keep it up. If our elected officials hear enough voices, they will eventually understand the mood of the public. If they ignore our pleas, there is always another election not too far away. Our real true power lies in the ballot box. But when the turnout for an election hovers around 25 percent, it's the fault of those who choose not to vote. The enemy of freedom is silence. And commonsense voices have been silent for too long and allowed the vocal minority on the left to control the narrative. One more target - the media. Write, call and harass the national media on their slanted liberal approach and boycott those advertisers who support their warped agenda. The left knows how to raise their voices. The problem with the silent majority is their silence.
